Hi y'all and "welcome" to Bon Scrapatit Designs!

Due to the long hours involved in trying to keep up with removing links and/or maxing out my storage space on 4-shared and the like, blog freebie links shall remain active for AT LEAST one full week, after which time the links shall be disabled and then shall eventually find their way into my store for a BARGAIN price! I would MUCH rather spend those long hours creating MORE goodies for y'all! The links for the Mega Blog Train shall remain on my sidebar until the next train departs in August! XOXO

WHOA, YEAH, YAHOO and 'BOUT TIME!!! ROFL!

Hi y'all!!! Just checking in real quick like as I'm just about ready to release *Floral Frenzy* and *Shimmerin' Shamrocks*!!! Just need to get all of my ducks in a row and they are GOOD to go!!! I will post the previews here on my sidebar with DIRECT links so that you can see them in my new store at Treasures To Scrap as well as my store at 3Scrapateers!!!

I am SO excited and EVEN more excited since talking with daughter #2 on the phone just a bit ago. She is SOOOOO happy and that makes me SOOOOOO happy, of course! She and her fiance', Travis, will be taking their vows come August 16th in an outdoor ceremony in BEAUTIFUL downtown Vancouver, Washington. She just had to fill me in on ALL of the details and she has most everything in place with the exception of the photographer that they are still in search of!

Now, I must be honest in telling you that the previous two paragraphs were written 24 hours ago, when I just had to give up and go to bed. As you know, I've been battling the digestive woes and I'm not quite sure what happened nearly two days ago, but it has had me "out of it" for the past two days straight! I was trying SO hard to get your freebie uploaded last night and just couldn't hang, KWIM? LOL! Anyhoo, I think I isolated the problem and am now working on that along with getting my kits prepared for uploading over the next 24-48 hours, God willing!

I received an e-mail this morning from one of Robert's cousins in Louisiana informing us that his PRECIOUS little 96-six-year-old grandmother passed away this morning. I immediately called Robert at work as he had just spoken with her right after Christmas and she had even expressed to him then that she was "tired" and ready to go! We also found out that she had experienced a stroke in late January leaving her unable to speak. WOWSERS! "96" is A LOT of years and Grandma Foster lived a GOOD full life! Robert only met her 15 years ago as his father was killed in a car accident when he was still in utero. Robert's cousin, Coniece, assured him that she was, indeed, ready to go home and we all know she is now living pain free and where she longed to be!

Anyhoo, things are a bit up in the "air", no pun intended as Robert tries to find a flight that we can afford. It is not easy to get anything reasonable when booking at the last minute and as it turns out, Grandma Foster's services are being held the same day as grandson, Dillon's first birthday party! Tomorrow, we will contact my future DIL's grandmother, who owns a travel agency, to see if she had hunt down a cancellation or an unfilled seat, etc.

I shall try my darndest to catch up on unfinished business tomorrow. I still need to announce a few "grand openings" and post a SWEET layout I received using *Shimmerin' Shamrocks*! Thank you Elaine aka EVD!!!

When I'm not feeling so good, or completely overwhelmed, sometimes the BEST remedy for me is to switch gears and attempt something TOTALLY "fresh"! Thus cometh, *As Fresh As A Daisy* and I must admit, I "am" feeling much better!!! WOO HOO!

If I have missed anyone's question or comment the past several days, please don't be afraid to repost for me and/or e-mail me at lindawalton@caltel.com.

I hope y'all are enjoying your week thus far and I REALLY hope that your FREEBIE tonight will FRESHEN things up a bit in YOUR day and in your scrapping endeavors!!!

Love and hugs,
Linda

*SPECIAL NOTE: I actually heard back from 4-Shared rather quickly
and they have removed the illegally uploaded files of mine! YAHOO!
I have just (9:40 pm PST) uploaded *Fresh As A Daisy* again and
have posted the new link above, tested it and all seems to be well
withthis one. Please let me know if you experience any further
troubles. I guess Media Fire messed up the link somehow in their
maintenance! I cannot complain however, as they do provide us with
a FREE means by which to share our FREEBIES!!!
Thanks for your understanding!

Sorry to hear of Robert's loss. When you contact the airlines tell them what happened. Some offer discounts (even when they are last moment) in cases of death in the family.

Daisy looks absolutely beautiful and as soon as MediaFire has finished with their maintenance you can be assured I will be downloading it.

Hope you are feeling better soon.

I'm sorry to hear of the loss for your family Linda.

Just a quick note, the download link has http at the end of it and has to be removed in order to get to the download. Thanks so much for your efforts and wonderful freebie sharing. Hopefully 'someone' will get it into her head to stop pirating soon and we can go back to a life of tryst and honor.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Robert's grandma. It's never easy even when it's "time"...
And sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. I just can't stand it when I have tummy troubles. I'd rather have a "real" sickness a cold or something so that I know it would "go away"...
Anyways, thanks for the preview of the Daisys. Looks like it will be a nice freebie (as ALL your freebies are!) but I too cannot get it to DL. Maybe it's cuz they're down, but it takes me to a spot to upload, not DL... And I tried taking off the http... didn't work for me... I'll pop back in and keep trying.
    Hugs, Tif

**** If you take off the http:// from the end of the link, the download WILL work! ****

Linda, I am SO very sorry to hear about the passing of your dear Robert's grandmother. You're right, 96 years is a wonderfully long time. Think of all the changes she's seen! But it seems as if the sadness of her passing is balanced, somewhat, with the blessing of your daughter's wedding plans and your grandson's first birthday. Seasons, to all things.

    Peace to you!

I am also sorry to hear about Robert's Grandmother. 96 is a very long life.
Funny how you mentioned your daughter getting married in Washington, because I moved from there down to Mississippi where I live now. Then you mentioned Louisiana, and that is where my boyfriend is from. Small world huh!
Thanks again Linda for sharing your awesome creations with us...

Linda, I am so sorry you have not been feeling well and very sorry for Robert's loss. His grandmother was ready to go and at 96 had lived a long and full life. That doesn't really ease the pain for Robert right now, though, especially since he didn't get to know her until he was an adult. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and to Robert. I do hope he is able to find a reasonably priced flight. And I hope you are both able to catch your breath and relax a bit very soon! Thank you so much for the gorgeous freebie!! Daisies are my favorite flower!

    Hello Linda,
I just wanted to say congrats on your daughter getting married soon. My youngest sister, 21, is also getting married soon and wow having the perfect wedding just seems so much harder in today's times not to mention the expense. I also wanted to express my regrets on Robert's grandmother. I lost my mother last Oct at the age of 63. We are still realing from her death even though she was so sick and crippled with rheumatoid arthritis and emphysema. She was so old to be only 63 but she knew it was her time and told us also that she was very tired. Last but not least I just had to say thank you so much for the freebie. It matches the album of daisy's and sunflower's I am doing of her life. So it was soo very perfect. Thanks for your generosity. It meant alot to me today. Sandra

Oh, Linda, it seems I don't check in for a few days and your world turns upside down. I am so terribly sorry to hear that Robert's grandmother passed on, but she lived a long life and that is a blessing. I am sure she was tired and ready to be at peace. Please tell Robert how very sorry I am and I will keep you all in my prayers.
And....so sorry to hear you haven't felt well again, but seem to be doing better now and I am so happy about that. I just wish it would last.

Oh my gosh, I love your new Daisy kit. It is beautiful, lovely, and so precious. You just keep coming up with new surprises to brighten our days. I certainly appreciate it as I know all your fans do.

Love you much and thinking of you both during this time. My mother has been gone almost 5 years now and would have turned 95 on March 30th. It's hard to believe it's been that long.

    Hugs!

OMG! This is absolutely darling! I am not a huge fan of daisies, well til now! The colors are a little to close to my High School colors, but I'll ignore that, lolol...
This is just beautiful. I've never seen a butterfly done this way, and I just love it! The bow is too real looking, I am just - well - in love with this kit!
Many, may hugs for giving us such beautiful freebies. Your efforts and talent are really apreciated!
Thanks for keeping this link up a little longer. I've missed out on so many links this past month or so since you had to change and put time constraints. I understand the need to do so tho...
