It's TERRIFIC Tuesday and I have yet another WIN'TREE scrapatit for y'all courtesy of dearest Carole!
COLD? Yes, I MEAN cold!!! For some reason I've not been able to get warm all day today. It IS cold and all, but usually I warm up with the the heater in our room and the door closed. We also have the woodstove going, but I still feel a bit of a chill and I am NOT running a fever. Shall I chalk it up to OLDER age and the thinning of my blood? ROFL! Funny how EVERYTHING seems to THIN out as we age except for where we'd REALLY like it too!!! Yes, I can laugh at it all and that will help me to grow older not only gracefully, but GRATEFULLY! I guess I'll just have to THIN out those OTHER places myself! He, he ...
I am SO proud of Luke, one of my twins and youngest children. Luke is nearly 18-1/2 and without much behind the wheel time, he passed his driving test with FLYING colors!!! The reason I was SO proud of him is that he had it in his mind to take this test regardless of his limited practice as he has earned money to buy himself a car and needed his license to, of course, drive it, but also to be able to get himself to a new place of employment. You know, the good 'ol "catch-22"!
Luke is a VERY conscientious young man and takes his responsibility seriously and despite MANY odds, he has prevailed! All six of my children have waited to get their driver's licenses when they felt ready for them, not just because they turned 16! It horrifies me every time I hear that the number one killer of teenagers in our state is car accidents. I breathe a GREAT sigh of relief that each of them has taken their time and felt confident as they walked through the DMV doors to sit behind the wheel of a car with a stranger and to have their skills rated!
I'm glad that MANY of you enjoyed the mini-tutorial on recoloring and I will try to come up with some more mini's that will, hopefully, help to increase your knowledge of Photoshop and/or to save you some time while scrapping or designing. If you have any TIME-SAVING shortcuts that you REALLY love, please feel free to share them with us!
I'm just about finished with my kit. I cannot believe how many changes I've made!!! I don't think that I've struggled with anything as much as I have *A LOVE FOR ALL SEASONS*!!! I'm sure MOST of it from not feeling 100%, but then the other part could be something I needed to go through in the design process to teach me a thing or two ... or three ... or .... LOL!
Have a WONDERFUL Wednesday y'all and I hope you are enjoying Carole's scrapatits as much as I am!!! Such an EASY way to get some QUICK scrapping done!
Sogni d' oro,
Linda
